La Palud-sur-Verdon is known the world over for climbing, brought to light by Patrick Edlinger in the 1980s. The largest canyon in Europe, known everywhere: since 1974, this café has seen a great many people come through.

Who we are

Our story,
not tall tales


Simple, generous dishes made with fresh local produce. From grilling over a wood fire to slow cooking for more than ten hours, we tell you our story, not tall tales.

Organic beef and lamb, depending on deliveries, from La Palud-sur-Verdon. From the producer to your plate: less than a kilometre.

Coffee is on the house. Service included.
